He Kōrero 34
30 September 2009
This issue lists new resources about good hand hygiene, breastfeeding for working mothers, and living with chronic Hepatitis B, as well as describing resources to be published in October-November 2009.
High Five
The High Five resources promote good habits for hand washing and drying. A poster and bathroom sticker spell out a 20 second rule for both washing and drying times. A second sticker can be placed near the doorway or in food preparation areas to remind people about good hand hygiene.
New or updated resources
Soon-to-be-released resources include a booklet on the free oral health care that is available to young people, together with information on maintaining good oral health, and a cot card and booklet about safe sleep for babies. (These resources replace older items in the HealthEd catalogue.) The pad of tear-off leaflets on folic acid has been substantially revised and now also covers iodine supplementation during pregancy and breast feeding.
